Pope Francis has written a letter to Cardinal George Alencherry, Major Archbishop of the Syro Malabar Church, priests, the religious and lay faithful, asking them follow the decision by the Synod of Bishops of the Church on the celebration of uniform form of Mass.
r The Pope directed them to adhere to the decision prior to Easter 2022. Groups supporting and opposing a uniform form of mass celebration as ordered by the Synod in August 2021 had held meetings in front of the house of Cardinal Alencherry earlier this year.
