Pop up restaurant serving rugby inspired dishes is coming to Dublin for ONE day only

A pop-up restaurant serving rugby inspired dishes is coming to Dublin for one day only.

Beloved yoghurt brand Glenisk will be opening a restaurant at Tang on Dawson Street on February 3 from 7.30 am.

Guests will have the chance to try a host of high protein dishes to see how professional rugby players can fuel their day.

There will be lots of delicious and nutritious options including protein pancakes, slow-cooked marinated Irish beef, and vegetarian falafel all under €10.

All proceeds from the day will be going to the Peter McVerry Trust.

Fans will also have the opportunity to win exciting rugby prizes on the day including tickets to see Ireland v Wales on February 8.

Shane Horgan, former Irish International and Glenisk Ambassador said: “As a former rugby player, I understand the importance and value of a healthy and high protein diet; I can also appreciate the struggle to sometimes make meals that are both nutritious and tasty.

“The recipes created by Glenisk using their strained protein yogurt tick both boxes – tasting delicious and providing the right amount of protein to keep players at the top of their game.

“I’m delighted to be working with Glenisk again on their #EatLikeThem campaign and would definitely recommend heading to their pop-up restaurant on Monday, February 3 on Dawson street to try the dishes out for yourself.”
