A new pop-up in Covent Garden is encouraging Londoners to be a little kinder to one another – and it is rewarding their niceties with free cocktails.
Bar chain Be At One has teamed up with gin giant Bombay Sapphire to create a “Give a compliment, get a cocktail” phone booth on Neal Street.
Open from 8.30am-7pm today (May 2) and tomorrow, Londoners can step inside the bright blue phone box and broadcast a compliment down to giant headphones, where the object of their praise will be able to hear it.
Every person with kind words will receive a voucher for a free cocktail at six of Be At One's bars in central London.
The pop-up celebrates the launch of four new Be At One bars across London – located at Liverpool Street, Regent Street, Berkeley Square and Seven Dials – as well as the recent revamp of the sites at Spitalfields and Piccadilly.
The voucher will entitle the holder to a free Blue Ticked G&T – which features flecks of edible blue paint – at any of the aforementioned bars.
