Pop star Nathan Sykes duets with young fan, 8, in her Astley home

This is the adorable moment an eight-year-old girl from Astley got the chance to duet with a famous pop star in her kitchen.

Nathan Sykes, who found fame in boyband The Wanted, got in touch with young Lola Harris after seeing her sing on YouTube.

The youngster was filmed singing his solo hit Over And Over Again with her dad Darren Harris.

Nathan contacted the family on Twitter after seeing the video to 'tell Lola how great she was', proud Darren said.

The pair arranged for Nathan to visit the family in their home on Tuesday.

"He sat down and had a drink and a chat", Darren said.

"We all talked about our backgrounds and stuff. He was talking to Lola and said 'shall we do an impromptu video?'.

"Lola said 'let's do it in the famous kitchen'. We shot the video and took a few pictures."

Darren described Nathan as an 'amazing guy' and said they promised to keep in touch after their afternoon together.

Since he posted the video of them dueting on YouTube, they've been inundated with 'non-stop notifications'.

Nathan also posted the video on Twitter to his 1.5M followers.

In the post, put up on Tuesday evening, he said: "A few days ago, I was made aware of a video of @DarrenHarris99 & Lola singing Over And Over Again & I was totally blown away. I messaged Darren & asked if I could visit to tell Lola personally how incredible I think she is.

"I obviously couldn’t leave without having a sing! Enjoy!"

One fan replied 'Straight up just cried my eyes out', while another posted 'OMFG this is so cute'.

Darren, 42, is no stranger to performing.

He owns his own singing waiter company Surprise Shows , in which entertainers turn up to events dressed as catering staff before bursting into song.

Darren said young Lola, part of singing group Stage Stars Academy, wants to follow in her dad's footsteps. Her idol is Ariana Grande.

The dad-and-daughter pair first decided to film themselves dueting at their kitchen table for YouTube as they are 'always singing together in the car and around the house'.

They first covered Lewis Capaldi's hit Someone You Loved, and decided to post more videos due to the positive response.

"We aim to get a proper YouTube channel set up and get more celebrities to come down", Darren added.
