Leeds United started the 2019/20 Championship season firing on all cylinders as Marcelo Bielsa's side swept aside Bristol City with a 3-1 victory at Ashton Gate.
Goals from Pablo Hernandez, Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison put Leeds in control but it was the performance of Ben White that set social media awash after an impressive debut.
Signed on loan from Premier League side Brighton, having caught the eye during a spell with Peterborough United last season, the 21-year-old showed any doubters that he has the capability of playing at a higher level.
His exciting display came amongst difficult circumstances too, as Leeds are on the verge of losing Kemar Roofe to Anderlecht and have already approved the departure of Pontus Jansson.
However, many supporters made it clear there was no reason to miss their former Swedish stalwart as White has certainly filled the void left by Jansson's departure - and that was the angle many fans took with their assessment.
