Pontus Jansson has spoken of the emotion of returning to Elland Road and insists it is always 'special' to play against his former Leeds United team-mates.
The former Whites' defender started as Brentford came within seconds of securing a crucial victory in West Yorkshire on Sunday afternoon.
Tyler Roberts fired Marcelo Bielsa's side in front, only for two quick strikes from Shandon Baptiste and Sergi Canos to hand the visitors the advantage.
Substitute Patrick Bamford earned the hosts a point in his first appearance in more than two months with a 95th-minute equaliser.
Jansson made the switch from Leeds United to Brentford in the summer of 2019 having fallen out with Bielsa, and joined his former side in the Premier League as the Bees secured promotion via the playoffs last term.
Despite the circumstances behind his departure, the Sweden international retains fond memories of his three-year spell at Elland Road and has paid tribute to his former side after his latest encounter.
He wrote: "Always special to play against your old teammates and It was emotional to see you all.
"Good game and even tho it’s hard now, a good point. We gave it all and fought until last second and I’m very proud over my team.
"We go again Friday!"

The Bees remain a point ahead of Leeds following the 2-2 draw, with Bielsa's side next in action away at Chelsea on Saturday.
