Polo Restaurant, at the Polish White Eagle Club in Turner has announced that it will be closing this week.

Restaurant owners Adam and Fiona Veikkanen posted on social media on Wednesday that they had made the decision to close after what has been a hard couple of years for the hospitality industry.

The couple started running Polo Restaurant as a stand-alone eatery in the Polish White Eagle Club in 2015.

"Since 2015 we have built this business and served thousands of plates of pierogi, it's been quite a ride," the post read.

Polo Restaurant's last day of trade will be Friday from 5pm to 7pm. There will be a limited quantity frozen Pierogi available for preorder via a link on its social media.
