A 106-year-old left Susanna Reid speechless today as she commented on her appearance on GMB.
Mary Nicholson, nicknamed Polly, lives at Elizabeth Court Care Home in St Helens and has beaten coronavirus twice.
Polly appeared on the programme today alongside the care home manager who described her as "amazing".
But as the interview started Susanna was left red-faced as Polly asked care home staff: "Who's that old woman on the TV?"
Susanna and her co-host Ben Shepherd burst into stunned laughter and Susanna said: "Well I recently celebrated my 50th birthday so you're right to call me old.
"I'll let Ben continue with the interview as I know he's you're favourite."
The care home manager spoke about Polly and said: "She's been singing all morning as you can hear, she's just amazing, when she had the first bout she was really poorly and we thought we'd lose her.
"But she's great and she's a fighter, I think her family will agree with me she has been all her life."
Polly said the secret to her long life was to "always be alert, no men and good food."

As the interview ended Susanna said: "Well Happy Birthday Polly from the old woman on the television."
Lorraine came up next and reassured Susanna and said: "I don't think she meant you Susanna I think she'd seen herself on the TV."
And GMB viewers were quick to comment on Polly's appearance.
Belle said: "Oh I love 106 year old Polly, calling @ susannareid100 an old woman and yawning through the interview."
Gee said: "Polly, the 106 year old on # GMB has got banter!!!! Happy Birthday Polly."
