Twitter user @WCTA_Chicago has a plan for the Bears in their Sunday-night game at Green Bay that might be just crazy enough to work:
“Blitz every down. Even on offense.”
On second thought, that won’t work at all. Then again, little has for the Bears against the Packers, who have owned the teams’ rivalry for far longer than most of us would like to think about.

Upshot: It seems we’re even more demoralized than we are disgusted. So we’ve got that going for us. It’s no fun getting your rear end handed to you over and over by the team you most want to beat … but these things go in cycles, right? Soon, we’re sure, the Bears shall run things for a good quarter-century.

Upshot: Rodgers has the votes, but older Bears fans might see things differently. Favre won 20 of his first 24 starts against the Bears and had separate winning streaks of seven and 10 — 10! — games head-to-head. Before Favre arrived, the Packers were doormats.

Upshot: “Coming off a bye? Bears get back a handful of players? Yeah, they still lose by three TDs,” wrote @PeakedInPreK, who added a couple of not-so-nice hashtags about coach Matt Nagy and general manager Ryan Pace for good measure. Well, what is there for us to add? Peaked pretty much covered it.
