Pollen level 'to peak next week'

This spring's level of pollen is expected to reach its peak by the end of next week, about five to seven days earlier than usual, a meteorological data company said Thursday.

The likely early peak is due to the unusually warm winter, according to Weathernews Inc.

The pollen level is expected to peak in mid-April across Honshu, Kyushu and Shikoku.
