Hay fever sufferers are in for a rough few days according to the latest pollen forecast for Leeds from the Met Office.
The forecaster includes the pollen count in its daily weather predictions for the city. And there's a downside to the warm, sunny weather on the cards - the pollen count is set to be 'very high' for the next days.
Met Office weather data is combined with expertise from the National Pollen and Aerobiological Unit and PollenUK to produce five day forecasts.
In dry, sunny weather, there is a very high grass pollen risk and a high risk of weed pollen as well.
Hay fever symptoms tend to get worse when the weather is warm, humid and windy - this is when the pollen count is at its highest.
Here is the five day pollen forecast for Leeds:
Today: Very high
Friday: Very high
Saturday: Very high
Sunday: Very high
Monday: Very high
Across the UK, pollen counts have risen to 'very high' following last week's mini-heatwave, triggering warnings for hay fever and asthma sufferers.
A so-called "pollen bomb" has hit the UK, and the grass pollen season typically peaks during the first two weeks of July.
The conditions will affect people in rural areas and cities, where hay fever is made worse by pollution.
Sufferers looking for some relief in the coming days might want to try a treatment one shopper said 'works instantly'.
Hay fever wipes that cost less than £1 have been raved about online for trapping and removing pollen, easing symptoms.
The new go-to product was originally spotted by Sam Cross, from Greater Manchester, who took to UK Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains to share her summer allergy solution with other sufferers.
In the post, Sam said that the hay-fever relief was "definitely worth it for the money and they work instantly for me".
As well as Poundstretcher, you can also pick up the Nuage Hayfever Relief Wipes for £1 at the Poundshop, £1 online at the Express Chemist, or 99p in-store at savers.
