POLL: Who wins Week 9 contest between Bears and Eagles?

What a stark contrast between this current Chicago Bears team and the one that played the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card playoffs last January.

Those Bears went from worst-to-first with a 12-4 record. These Bears appear poised for first-to-worst and possibly a .500 record. My, oh my, how things can change in just a few months.

Maybe things will get better for the Bears away from Soldier Field when they travel to Philly to play an Eagles team that might’ve found its footing last week after their own stumbles.

While the Bears offense made strides in the run game — which need to continue — the redzone offense was atrocious. They left points on the field. Points that ultimately cost them a game against a Chargers team that had no business winning that game.

Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky will continue to shoulder the criticism that’s raining down upon him as his window to show drastic improvement is closing at a rapid rate.

Then there’s the Bears defense, who did enough to beat the Chargers by allowing just 17 points, seven of which were gifted by a Trubisky fumble that led to the game-winning touchdown.

Will the month of November be kinder to the Bears? Will Chicago finally put together a well-executed game plan against the team that ousted them from the playoffs last season? Or will it be more of the same from Trubisky and the offense?

Who wins on Sunday?
