The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs will face off in Super Bowl LIV, which pits one of the NFL’s best defenses against one of its best offenses.
The 49ers were able to accomplish what the Bears weren’t — go from worst-to-first and make a deep playoff run that has led them to the Super Bowl. San Francisco has thrived off its top-ranked defense, as well as a strong ground game that has brought balance to their Jimmy Garoppolo-led offense.
Then there are the Chiefs, who fell short of the Super Bowl last year in a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Patriots. Led by superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs will face their stiffest test yet against this 49ers defense. But if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s to never count out Mahomes.
