POLL: Who’s most to blame for Bears’ Week 8 loss to Chargers?

The Chicago Bears suffered their third straight demoralizing loss Sunday as the Los Angeles Chargers narrowly escaped with a 17-16 victory that sent the Bears to 3-4 on the season.

There was plenty of blame to go around — notably on the offense and special teams side of things.

Matt Nagy made good on his promise to run the ball more than seven times against the Chargers, but it was his offense’s redzone struggles that ultimately lost them the game in the first half. That, and his decision to not try and get closer on Eddy Pineiro’s 41-yard field goal attempt.

Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky continued to be frustratingly inconsistent, where he both flashed potential and made poor decisions. But it was Trubisky’s two fourth-quarter turnovers, including a fumble that led to the Chargers’ go-ahead score.

But Trubisky did get the Bears into position to win, as he’s done on several occasions at the end of a game. If only Pineiro connected on what should be an easy 41-yard field goal.

It was Pineiro’s second field goal miss of the game — his third on the season. Although Pineiro also connected on three field goals when the Bears offense failed to convert in the redzone.

Who do you think deserves most of the blame for the Bears’ loss to the Chargers?
