POLL: Was tight end Noah Fant a good pick for the Broncos?

The Denver Broncos traded down in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft on Thursday, fetching extra second- and third-round picks from the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for the 10th overall pick.

With the 20th overall pick (which previously belonged to the Steelers), the Broncos selected Iowa tight end Noah Fant.

Fant (6-5, 241 pounds) hauled in 78 receptions for 1,083 yards and 19 touchdowns during his three years with the Hawkeyes. He will compete with Jake Butt and Jeff Heuerman this offseason for the team’s No. 1 tight end job.

Fant isn’t guaranteed to become the team’s new starting tight end but he’ll certainly be the favorite. He was widely considered the second-best tight end in this year’s class behind T.J. Hockenson, his college teammate.

We want to know what you thought of the selection, Broncos fans! Was trading down and landing Fant a good move for the team? Let us know your opinion by giving the pick a grade in the poll below!
