POLL: Should the Steelers draft a quarterback in 2019?

The top of the 2019 NFL draft class is shaping up to be a mix of elite prospects followed with a large group of prospects with lots of NFL traits but not a huge variation in overall talent. The Pittsburgh Steelers are going to find themselves picking outside of the group of elite prospects unless they trade up so the odds of getting a true impact player in the first round is somewhat minimized.

Which begs this question about the Steelers and the quarterback class. If one of the big four prospects fall to 20, should the Steelers pull the trigger?

The top four quarterbacks in this draft class are Kyler Murray, Dwayne Haskins, Drew Lock and Daniel Jones. Most draft pundits are banking on Murray and Haskins going very early and then things get a little muddy with Lock and Jones.

If you are sure the Steelers are set with Mason Rudolph and Josh Dobbs this one is an easy no. We’ve seen nothing of Rudolph and Dobbs looked great in preseason last year. It’s impossible to know how long Ben Roethlisberger is going to stay so the team must be prepared.

Cast your vote and let us know if you think the Steelers need to draft a quarterback in 2019.
