Everton fans rejoiced as they returned to Goodison Park with a win on Saturday against Southampton.
It was the perfect start for Rafa Benitez, who would have been fearing the worst with his side 1-0 down at the break, but his side rallied in the second-half to run out 3-1 winners.
With Richarlison, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Dominic Calvert-Lewin all getting on the scoresheet, there was plenty for Toffee fans to cheer as capacity crowds returned for the Premier League’s opening weekend.
But who did Blues fans vote as Man of the Match?
The Liverpool ECHO put out a poll for Everton fans to give their verdict and it was Doucoure and his thunderbolt of an equaliser who came top of the charts, taking an overwhelming 59% of the 600-strong vote.
Having started the Blues up on their comeback trail, following his recent Olympic gold medal, Richarlison claimed 28%; while new signing Demarai Gray also made a positive impression, coming 3rd in the poll with 5%.
