Last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers finished 9-6-1 and just short of the playoffs. It was a bitter pill to swallow after watching how poorly this team played late in games. But the team has gone to great lengths to rebuild the roster and clean things up so the focus can be strictly on football.
But how will this translate to the field?
If the Steelers want to return to the playoffs, 10 wins have to be the bar. Teams like the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns have improved and the AFC North is going to be highly competitive.
On paper this team is better in more spots than it is worse. Wide receiver is obviously a question mark but every other spot on this team is better or at least the same. Right now, we are putting the Steelers win total based on the roster and the schedule at 11 and a return trip to the playoffs.
