Loads of rumors and talk of various deals to be had never materialized into anything other than thin wisps of faint smoke. Quinn took calls about Darius Slay but refused to give up the Pro Bowl cornerback for the offers made. When he tried to buy another Pro Bowl corner, Denver’s Chris Harris, the Broncos also wanted too much.
