Poll: Do you want schools to reopen in June?

Boris Johnson set out a roadmap as to how the UK would gradually be eased out of lockdown.

In this, it included the reopening of primary schools from June 1.

However, the National Teachers Union has warned the Education Secretary Gavin Williamson that it would be unsafe to send children back to school as early as this.

But, the Government has supported the move based upon the current scientific advice and the fear that if schools do not reopen soon, children from disadvantaged backgrounds will academically be left behind.
