Police would like to speak to these men after a widescreen TV was stolen from Blyth

Police are investigating the theft of two TVs from a supermarket in Northumberland.

Shortly before 9pm on November 11, officers received a report of a theft from Asda on Cowpen Road in Blyth.

It was reported that two TVs had been taken by a man who then left the shop without paying.

He then met another man outside and the pair left the area.

Officers have now identified two men they would like to speak to in connection with their enquiries and have released images of the pair.

A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "They were known to have been in the store at the time of the theft, and could have information that may assist with the investigation.

The men, or anyone who recognises them, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 141014C/19 or via the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
