Police worried over missing 14-year-old schoolgirls not seen since Monday

Two missing 14-year-old schoolgirls believed to be together have not been seen since last night, police warned.

The two teens are from St Helens and one of them is still wearing their school unform.

Police are appealing for help in finding Lucy Ferguson and Shanty-Lie Wilson after they both went missing at about 9.30pm.

The girls were both last seen on Devonshire Avenue.

Shanty-Lie Wilson (Merseyside Police)

In a statement, Merseyside Police said: "Shanty-Lie is as white, of slim build with long blonde hair. She was last seen wearing her school uniform.

"She is known to frequent the Thatto Heath and Sherdley Park areas.

Lucy Ferguson (Merseyside Police)

"Lucy is also described as white, of slim build with long blonde hair.

"When last seen she was wearing a pale grey sweatshirt with paint splashes on it and pale blue ripped jeans. She is known to frequent the Thatto Heath and Sherdley Park areas.

"It is believed both girls are together."
