Police witness appeal as elderly pedestrian seriously hurt in Warrington cycle collision

Police are appealing for witnesses with CCTV or dash cam footage following a serious collision in Cheshire involving an elderly woman and a cyclist.

Officers were called just before 4.30pm on Monday 22 March to Enfield Park Road in Fearnhead, Warrington, following reports of a collision involving a cyclist and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, an unnamed woman in her 80s, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. She remains in a critical condition.

Officers said the cyclist stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.

They would like to hear from anyone who may have captured CCTV, dash cam footage or who witnessed the incident.
