Police who pulled over this green Lamborghini made a worrying discovery

A high-powered Lamborghini sports car was stopped by police who found a child travelling in the footwell.

The driver also had no insurance, police have revealed.

The two-seat Lamborghini Huracan - which cost around £155,000 new - was pulled over by a GMP Traffic patrol.

The force said the car - in vivid green - was 'being driven with a child in the footwell'.

The driver - who has not been identified but was 27 years old - was 'reported for all offences', GMP Traffic said.

No further details have been revealed.

It's also not known where in Greater Manchester the Lambo was pulled over.

GMP Traffic shared details of the stop on its Twitter feed.

They said the driver wasn't covered on the insurance policy because of his age.

No details or information about the child were revealed either.

It's not known how old they were, but there were no reports of any injuries.

Wring on Twitter, GMP Traffic Unit said: "Just left the last one when spotted this Lamborghini Huracan being driven with a child in the footwell.

"Checks revealed driver not to be covered on the insurance policy.

"Stated any driver over 30 - unfortunately he's 27.

"Driver reported for all offences."
