Police warning to owners of 'expensive cars' in part of Merseyside

Police have issued a warning to owners of expensive vehicles after a spate of burglaries.

The force said thieves had managed to access the cars after they were able to break in through rear patio doors of homes.

By breaking locks off, offenders were able to gain access to homes in Sandyville Road, in Norris Green, and Hebden Road, in Croxteth.

It is not clear when exactly the burglaries took place.

An Audi A3 and a Mercedes were stolen.

In a statement, posted on January 7, police have warned car owners to be aware of thieves.
