Police warning to Bristol Airport passengers who leave their cars in residential areas

Police have issued a warning to Bristol Airport passengers who leave their cars on residential roads during trips abroad.

The police team covering the airport said on Twitter they had received complaints from residents about cars being left for days while their owners 'jet away' to another country.

Motorists have been warned their vehicles could be removed if necessary 'where legal powers exist'.

Police also shared pictures of some of the cars belonging to such inconsiderate drivers, who have left their cars metres from people's homes.

The post shared on Twitter read: "When we receive parking complaints from residents about cars on pavements for days while owners jet away from @BristolAirport - we will investigate.
