(Picture: PA Media)Police have warned that they will crackdown on thugs who shot fireworks near cars and pedestrians in north London in dramatic scenes that were caught on camera by those caught in the crossfire.
The footage shows rockets being shot down the street and into traffic in Stamford Hill at about 9.25pm on Halloween.
Bystanders are cowering at the side of the road and cars swerving to avoid explosions as flashes as bangs light up the street.
Officers swooped on the street the location to prevent further disorder.
No arrests were made and there were no reported injuries but police said they were ready to tackle those planning to wreak havoc on the streets as firework night approaches

Superintendent Andy Port said: “Setting off fireworks in this way is reckless and dangerous, and it shows a total disregard for those who may be injured or simply frightened.
“Such anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated in Hackney. Officers conduct frequent patrols across the borough, in addition to responding as soon as possible to reports of fireworks being set-off in a way that may harm or intimidate other people. If you have information about who is doing this, please speak with us.
“I urge everyone to be mindful of the consequences of anti-social behaviour, and I encourage parents to speak with young people about this. Feeling safe in our own communities is vital to the health and well being of us all, and working with partner agencies, the Met is committed to playing its part to achieve this.”
The local Safer Neighbourhoods Team will monitor the issue in the coming days, the Met added.
Anyone who witnesses incidents involving fireworks being set off in dangerous zones to contact police on 101 or to remain anonymous Crimestoppers on 101.
