Oct. 08--Police are alerting residents about three robberies that happened Monday in the Avondale, Logan Square and Bucktown neighborhoods.
In all three incidents, a male and a female attacker walked up to victims, displayed a silver handgun and demanded their property, according to a release from the Chicago Police Department.
In one case, the attackers fired a BB gun, hitting one victim in the eye. The attackers fled in a black Honda coupe, which was driven by a third offender, according to the release.
The first robbery happened at 9:05 p.m. in the 3200 block of North Drake Avenue. The second incident occurred at 9:32 p.m. in the 2900 block of North Ridgeway Avenue, and the last robbery took place around 10 p.m. in the 2000 block of West Concord Place.
One suspect is a black man age 20 to 29. He is 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall and has black hair and a dark complexion.
A second suspect is a black woman, also in her 20s. She is 5-foot-9 and has black hair and a dark complexion.
A third suspect, who was driving the Honda, is only described as a black man in his 20s, according to the release.
