Police are warning South Side residents of a string of recent burglaries in West Englewood.
In each incident, someone broke into homes or garages and stole valuables, Chicago police said in a community alert.
The burglaries happened:
- about 1 p.m. April 18 in the 7200 block of South Claremont Avenue;
- about noon April 21 in the 7300 block of South Oakley Avenue;
- about 9 a.m. April 23 in the 7100 block of South Bell Avenue; and
- about 2 p.m. May 1 in the 7000 block of South Bell Avenue.
