Police want to trace man in cap over attempted burglary

Officers are hoping to identify a cap-wearing man captured on CCTV who they hope to speak to in relation to an attempted burglary.

Merseyside Police today released a selection of CCTV images of the man they want to speak to.

Officers believe the man, pictured clutching a mobile phone "may have information" as they probe an attempted break-in bid in Liscard.

Today police said the attempted burglary took place in Claremount Road.

The would-be burglar tried to force way their way into a property on Wednesday, January 20.
