Police want to speak to this person after reports man touched himself inappropriately on a bus

Police have issued an appeal after a man was reportedly seen touching himself inappropriately on a bus.

The alleged incident happened on board the X41 bus, from Manchester city centre to Accrington, shortly before 5pm on March 10.

The vehicle was travelling along the A56, from Ramsbottom towards Haslingden, at the time.

Officers have released an image of a man they are keen to speak with in relation to the incident.

They are appealing to the public for help in identifying him.

PC Pete Mather, of Rossendale Police, said: “We would like to speak to this man as part of our enquiries and are asking anybody with information about who he may be to get in touch as soon as possible.”

Anybody with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting log number 1074 of March 10.
