Police want to speak to this man in connection to two sexual assaults at bus station in Lambeth

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to following two sexual assaults by the same suspect at Vauxhall bus station in Lambeth.

The incidents took place over between 3pm to 3.30pm on Monday September 20, at bus stop J in Vauxhall bus station, detectives from the Met's Road and Transport Policing Command said.

In the first incident, the suspect sexually touched an 18-year-old female as she stood at the stop before he walked away.

In the second offence, the suspect sexually touched a 19-year-old female.

The victim challenged his behaviour and when a bus arrived, the victim boarded it.

Police said the suspect remained at the bus stop and could be heard shouting abuse at the victim.

Detectives describe the suspect as a white male with an Eastern European accent, of medium build with short curly fair hair.

He was wearing a grey hoody with the hood up, dark grey trousers and white slider-type sandals with no socks.

Detective Chief Inspector, Michael Dougall, said: “No one should have to put up with unwanted attention or predatory, sexual or violent behaviour.

“We have released this image in the hope that someone will recognise this person and help police identify him. I would urge anyone who can help to get in contact.”
