Police want to speak to this man after theft from elderly woman at cash point

Police are investigating after a woman in her 60s had money stolen from her at a cash machine in Bristol.

The woman was trying to withdraw money at an ATM in East Street, Bedminster just after 2.30pm on Saturday, May 25.

There was a delay in releasing the cash. While she was checking an adjacent machine a man took her money from the first machine.

She challenged the man but he walked away with the cash.

Police are keen to trace the man pictured, described as a “very thin” white man in his early 20s.
