Police want to speak to this man after sexual assault on bus

A CCTV image has been released after a man touched a woman 'inappropriately' on a bus.

The sexual assault happened on the service 48/49 between 4.15pm and 4.50pm, on Monday 19 October.

After getting off the bus in Bristol city centre, the victim had to hide to escape the man.

Officers at Avon and Somerset Police have now launched an appeal, and have released an image of a man they hope to track down.

He is described as Asian and was wearing a dark top, blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms with three white stripes and blue trainers.

A force spokesperson said: "If you recognise him or have any information that could assist police with their inquiry, call 101 quoting reference 5220237487."
