Police want to speak to this man after electric bike stolen on main road

Police have issued a picture of a man they want to talk to after an electric bike was reportedly stolen from a main road in Manchester.

The bike was snatched on Cheetham Hill Road last Saturday (March 11), police said. Officers want to speak to the man in the picture about the incident.

Anyone who recognises him or who has any information is being urged to get in touch. A post on the GMP Manchester North Facebook page this morning said: "#APPEAL | Police are appealing for information after an electric bike was stolen from Cheetham Hill Road on Saturday 11 March 2023.

"Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with this incident. If you have any information that could help identify this man, please get in touch with police as it is believed he could assist with enquiries.

"If you have information, please call 101 quoting log 1420 of 11/3/23. Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
