Police want to speak to this man after an assault outside a pub

Police have released a picture of a man they're looking to speak with after an assault outside a Bury pub last month.

Officers have launched an appeal to track down a man they're looking to speak with, after someone was punched outside a Prestwich pub.

A man in his 50s was assaulted outside The Red Lion, on Bury New Road, on Friday, April 16.

Now, police have released a picture of a man they think could help with their enquiries.

They shared the image in a post on the GMP Bury South Twitter page, with some details of the offence.

It read: "Do you recognise this male?

"We want to speak to him following an assault where a man in his 50s was punched outside The Red Lion on Bury New Road in Prestwich on 16 April."

Anyone with information has been asked to call 0161 856 8181, 0161 856 8172, or email 18730@gmp.police.uk.

Alternatively, the independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
