Police want to speak to this man after a theft in Jesmond Pool changing rooms

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a theft at a Newcastle swimming pool.

According to Northumbria Police, at around 9.30am on March 13 a wallet was stolen from a pair of trousers in the changing rooms of Jesmond Swimming Pool.

Enquiries to identify the person responsible are ongoing but so far no one has been arrested.

However, police have now released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist their investigation.

A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "He was in the building at the time of the theft and could have information about the offence."

Anyone who knows the man in the images is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference 32538Y/19 or email  8608@northumbria.pnn.police.uk .
