Police want to speak to this man after a child was punched in the face at Old Trafford

This is the man police want to speak after a 13-year-old child was assaulted during a rugby match at Old Trafford.

Police say the attack happened following the Super League Grand Final on October 12, which saw St Helens defeat Salford Red Devils.

During the match, the suspect was seen throwing items at other people watching the game, a post on GMP Trafford's Facebook page said.

The suspect then entered into an argument with the child victim's dad, police said.

After the child attempted to intervene, they were left bleeding after being punched in the face.

Police have now released a fresh appeal, asking anyone with information about the assault, or the male pictured, to come forward.
