Police want to speak to this man after £30,000 worth of jewellery and watches were stolen in a burglary

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after more than £30,000 worth of jewellery and watches were stolen during a burglary.

Officers want to speak to the man in connection with the break-in at a home in the Egerton area of Bolton.

They say a man entered the property on Friday, May 15, before fleeing with the expensive loot.

The burglary is believed to have occurred at some point before 5.40pm.

The house was empty at the time.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.

Greater Manchester Police have now released an image of a man wearing dark clothing, and a baseball cap, they would like to speak to.

Detectives are urging members of the public to contact them with any information they may have that could assist with their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured is encourage to call police on 0161 856 5761 quoting incident 1988 of 15/05/2020. Details can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
