Police want to speak to this man about Chinese takeaway burglary in Jesmond

Police officers want to speak to this man after a burglar made off with money from a Chinese takeaway.

The break-in happened overnight on Wednesday, February 5, at the Acorn Chop Suey House on Acorn Road in Jesmond.

Intruders forced entry to the takeaway before making off with a quantity of cash.

Inquiries into the burglary are ongoing but police have now released images of a man they wish to speak to.

He was in the area at the time and may be able to assist police.

The man, or anyone who knows him, is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 quoting log 0305 060220.
