Police want to speak to these two men after a "shocking" attack in an Indian takeaway.

In the early hours of May 23, at around 1.30am, a man in his 20s was restrained, punched, and hit over the head with a glass wine bottle at the Golden Tandoori on Great Ancoats Street.

He was left with 'serious facial injuries'.

Greater Manchester Police are now hunting for the people who did it and have released images of two men they want to speak to.

Detective Constable David Bell from GMP's City of Manchester district said: "This is a shocking incident that left a man with serious facial injuries that he continues to recover from.

"It's not acceptable, and we're keen to speak to anyone involved so that we can establish the exact events that led up to this.

"I'm encouraging anyone with information, no matter how small, to please get in touch with police, which you can do via LiveChat on our website www.gmp.police.uk quoting log number 277 of 23/05/2021, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
