CCTV has been released of two men police want to speak to after a man was stabbed in a club.
The victim suffered a 'laceration to his cheek' after being knifed at Block 1 on Bold Street, Warrington, police said.
Cheshire Police said the man was involved in an argument just after midnight on Sunday, March 24.
During the 'altercation' he was 'seriously assaulted', a spokesman said.
He required hospital treatment for his stab wound.
Police are appealing for anyone with information, or who recognises the men, to come forward.
They believe they could have important information which could help with the investigation.
Det Con David Wynne said: “This incident took place in a busy nightclub in Warrington town centre and there were a number of people in the club at the time who may be able to assist with our investigation.
“I’m particularly keen to speak to the two men in the CCTV images as I believe that they may hold vital information.
“If you think you recognise the men in the images or may know who they are please contact the team here.
“I would also like to appeal directly to the men in the CCTV images to get in touch.”
