One of the men has light coloured hair, is wearing a black coat and what appears to be a black bag. The other has dark hair and is wearing a navy coloured hoody.

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident, or the whereabouts of these two men, to get in touch immediately.

In a post on Twitter, the force said: "We would like to speak to these two men after an incident on a bus in Stockport where the driver was assaulted, cash was stolen and a window smashed.

"Anyone with information can call 0161 856 9692 quoting 188 22/10/22. Details can also be shared with @CrimestoppersUK.
