A man had to be treated in hospital for head injuries after he was the victim of a serious assault in south Bristol.

Police have issued an appeal for information and the images of three younger men they want to identify and question in relation to the attack.

The incident happened last Thursday evening, August 13, on Dean Lane in Bedminster.

The victim was a 50-year-old man who suffered head injuries and had to be taken to hospital for treatment.

Police described the assault as 'serious', and eight days on have identified the images of three men they want to question in relation to the attack.
