Police want help to locate person missing from hospital

Newry Police are keen to locate missing person Martin Harper, who was last seen leaving Daisy Hill Hospital in Hospital Road, Newry, at 5:30pm on Tuesday afternoon, August 3.

Mr Harper is known to frequent the Newry and Kilkeel areas and may have travelled to either of the locations after leaving hospital.

If you have any information which could assist Newry Police, you are asked to phone 101 quoting reference number 1392 of August 3.

Once the Police Service of Northern Ireland locates a missing person, they ensure their physical and mental wellbeing. If required, they will task medical or mental health professionals to assess the person.

It should be noted that if an adult is reported missing and then located, they may not wish their location known. The police will then update that they are safe and well, but will not disclose their location.
