Police want dash-cam footage as woman dies after being knocked down in Glasgow

A woman has died after being knocked down in Glasgow .

The 60-year-old was hit by a Blue Nissan Qashqai car at around 1.40pm on Tuesday.

Emergency services raced to the scene Culrain Street in the Shettleston area of the city.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Constable Lewis Owen said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the woman who sadly passed away.

“As we continue our investigation into the full circumstances of what happened, we are appealing for anyone who may have information to come forward.

“We are also appealing for dash-cam footage that may assist our enquiries.

“If you can help, please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2021 of Tuesday, March 10.”
