A man who told police they were s**t at their jobs" was kept in custody for 34 hours until he emptied suspected drugs from his system.
The Anfield man spent what police said would have been an "excruciating" wait in custody after he was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
When officers arrested him in Flint, North Wales they said he told them they were "s**t at their jobs" - which police told their social media followers was "ironic".
Police said during his lengthy stay in custody the man decided to "deliver two packages to us".
North Wales Police North Flintshire shared the encounter on Facebook and shared pictures of the "packages" which were put into biohazard bags.
Confirming the arrest in a cheeky post yesterday they wrote: "The pungent smell of victory wafts throughout our office again.
"A male from Merseyside has been arrested for being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and after (what we assume to be) an excruciating 34 hour stay in custody has decided to 'deliver' two packages to us."
They added: "He is released on bail but we will catch up with him shortly. He even had the audacity to call the officers who arrested him "S**t at their jobs. "Oh the irony...... #NotTodayClassA #SmellslikeVictory."
