Police 'very concerned' for welfare of missing Scots woman last seen in Glasgow

Police are "very concerned" for the welfare of a missing Scots woman reported missing from Glasgow.

Florence Brooke, 24, was last seen shortly after 11.15am yesterday on Balornock Road in the Springburn area of the city.

Glasgow cops have made an urgent appeal for information to help trace her.

She is described as being 5ft 2in tall with black hair.

When last seen, she was wearing a khaki top with a white t-shirt underneath which was decorated with lemons and black dots.

She was also wearing grey leggings and blue Converse shoes with rainbow coloured laces.

In addition, she wears glasses and is known to travel to the Lincolnshire area of England.

Inspector Bart Simonis urged anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward to help with the police enquiries.

He said: “We are very concerned for Florence’s wellbeing and are looking for the public to help us if you think you might have seen her.

“Anyone with information can call 101, quoting incident 1121 of 25 August.”
