Police 'very concerned' as search for missing double amputee wheelchair user launched

A major search has been launched for a missing double amputee wheelchair user, with police "very concerned".

Stuart Bowman, 39, has gone missing from Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire - located about 20 miles from Kings Cross in London.

He was last seen at lunchtime on Wednesday and police are keen to speak to anyone who has any information on his whereabouts.

In a tweet, Herts Police said: "We are very concerned for his welfare.

"Stuart is a double lower limb amputee who uses a wheelchair.

"If you think you have seen Stuart or have any info about his whereabouts call 999."
