Police vehicles vandalized in the South Loop

Chicago police vehicles parked outside of a police station were vandalized Tuesday in the South Loop.

About 2:30 a.m., officers discovered four parked Chicago Police Department vehicles and two officers’ personal vehicles had been damaged near the 1st District Central police station at 1718 S. State St, Chicago police said.

No one is in custody and the investigation into who caused the damage is ongoing, police said.
